Hi Everyone,
NO hockey this Sunday. We'll resume play Sunday, July 27 from 9:00 - 11:00 at the Sportsplex facility in Poway. This will be our last Sunday of play at the Sportsplex.
Cost is $5 per Sunday and a waiver needs to be signed before you play (available at the field).
There is a $2.50 entry fee into the facility for which you will receive a token redeemable at the restaurant for a large drink
Our fall season will begin the weekend after Labor Day (at Poway High School).

Poway High School Field Hockey is running a camp:
Dates: July 17, 18, 19
Times: 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Location: Poway High School Stadium
Cost: $130 (players receive a Ball and Camp Shirt)
No experience required. Sticks available to borrow.
Must wear shin guards and mouthguard

HEAD FIELD HOCKEY COACH, UC DAVIS
The UC Davis Club team has competed at the club level for over a decade. We
compete in the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (comprised of club teams from Cal Poly SLO, UCSB, UC Irvine, Santa Clara, and Chico State). The team filed for Division 1 status this year, but is still waiting to hear the final decision. We will still be considered a club team for the 2008-2009 season, regardless.

4) Patrick Henry High School is seeking a Varsity Team Coach for the 08 season.
We have a great group of girls at Patrick Henry that are very motivated regarding Field Hockey. Last years Varsity Team had a season record of 11 wins / 7 losses. Fifteen members of the 2007 Varsity Squad made the San Diego Tribunes ‘ All Academics Team’ and one member made the ‘1st Team all Eastern League’.
Several of the Patrick Henry girls also play on the ‘Navajo’ Club Team that has sent teams to ‘Cal-Cup’ for the past few years and will be fielding a team to this years ‘National Festival’ at Indio over the Thanksgiving Day Weekend the new coach may be asked to help with this tournament
